01 Justice & law

Scrap the Youth Justice System

I think we should get rid of the youth justice system and treat young offenders like adults, they should face the consequences of their actions. It's time to stop mollycoddling them and expecting the rest of us to pay for their rehabilitation, I'm sick of hearing about their rights and not enough about the rights of their victims. The current system is too soft and it's not working, that's why we see the same young people reoffending time and time again.

The reason it's not working is because it's all about rehabilitation and not enough about punishment, if you do the crime you should do the time, it's as simple as that. We need to bring back some discipline and make sure these young people understand that their actions have consequences, at the moment they just get a slap on the wrist and are back out on the streets causing more trouble.

02 Immigration

Enough is enough, bring back common sense on immigration

It drives me mad seeing the country swamped. We've got people on waiting lists for houses a mile long, our schools are bursting, and yet the Tories just keep letting them flood in. It's not about being racist, it's about looking after our own first, like any sensible family would. They talk about 'economic benefits' but all I see is pressure on services and wages for lads doing proper jobs being driven down.

We need to get a grip. Stop this open door nonsense. We should have a proper system based on what we actually need and can support, not just whoever shouts loudest or can sneak in. Focus on skilled workers who fill specific gaps, not just numbers for the sake of it. And for goodness sake, make sure people who come here contribute, pay their way, and integrate properly instead of living in their own little worlds.

Those who break the rules or commit crimes should be out, sharpish.

03 Housing

Build on Brownfield Sites Not Greenbelt

We should be building new homes on old industrial sites not on green spaces that people around here actually care about. This is just common sense, we've got loads of old factories and pits that are just sitting empty, why are we letting developers build on the few bits of countryside we've got left.

It's not just about preserving the look of the place, it's about keeping areas where people can go for a walk, where kids can play, where we can still see some wildlife. I've lived in Doncaster all my life and I've seen the green spaces get smaller and smaller, it's like nobody cares about the people who already live here.

We need to get back to building homes for people who actually need them, not just for investors and landlords.

04 Foreign policy

Stop Wasting Cash on Foreign Aid

I'm sick of seeing our government throw money at foreign countries while our own towns are falling apart. I mean what's the point of giving millions to some dictator in Africa when our own pensioners are struggling to heat their homes. It's just madness.

I'd change the whole foreign aid system so it's focused on trading with other countries not just handing them cash. We should be using our aid budget to help British businesses export goods and services to other countries, creating jobs and boosting our economy. That way we get something back for our money, instead of just lining the pockets of corrupt officials.

We should also stop trying to be the world's policeman and sort out our own problems first. We've got enough to deal with in this country without sticking our nose into everyone else's business.
