Backing Our Local Pharmacies, Properly

I've lived in Grimsby all my life, love, and I've seen how much our local pharmacies do for the community, but they need more support, not just a bit of extra cash. We should be looking at a more comprehensive approach, one that ties funding to specific outcomes and targets, like reducing hospital admissions and improving health education. It's not just about chucking some money at the problem, it's about using that money to make a real difference.

Our pharmacists are highly trained professionals, and they should be able to offer a wider range of services, including health checks and minor ailment treatments. But we need to make sure they've got the resources and training to do it properly. I've spoken to some of the pharmacists in our area, and they're desperate for more support, not just financially, but in terms of staffing and equipment.
