Britain First? We Need Britain Working Together.

It’s understandable that people are feeling squeezed. I hear it too, from parents and grandparents in the village, worried about their children and grandchildren finding affordable homes and secure jobs. The feeling that the system isn’t working for them is real. But this idea that we should simply close our borders and shut everyone else out isn't the answer. It’s a simplistic view that doesn't reflect the complex reality of how our economy and society function.

Our public services, particularly the NHS, are indeed under immense strain. But the solution isn’t to stop people from coming here who are willing to work and contribute, often in sectors facing critical shortages. Instead, we need a serious, long-term plan for funding and staffing these vital services.
