End Greedy Landlordism Now

I'm so fed up with seeing families in Hebden Bridge struggling to find a decent place to live, all because some wealthy investor is more interested in making a quick buck than in providing a home for people who need it. I've seen it firsthand with the young people I work with, kids who are already dealing with enough stress and uncertainty without having to worry about where they're going to sleep at night. It's just not right that someone can buy up a whole block of flats and then leave them empty, just to wait for the prices to rise.

The thing that really gets my goat is that this is all just a symptom of a bigger problem - the fact that housing is treated like a commodity, rather than a basic human right. We need to start thinking about housing as something that's essential for people's wellbeing, rather than just a way for investors to make a profit.
