Stop letting big corporations wreck the planet and then pay pennies to clean up their mess

I'm so sick of hearing about net-zero targets while emissions keep rising. It feels like total theatre. We're all supposed to be diligently recycling and cutting down on plastic, but then you see these massive companies polluting rivers and the air with impunity. The fines they get are just a slap on the wrist, an operating cost. It’s infuriating.

What we need is a radical overhaul of corporate accountability. Instead of vague targets and voluntary agreements, let’s implement a strict, legally binding pollution cap for every major industry. If they exceed it, the penalties should be severe enough to genuinely hurt their bottom line – think massive fines directly tied to the damage caused, or even temporary operational suspensions. This isn't about punishing business, it's about making sure the cost of pollution is borne by the polluter, not by future generations.
