Time to Stop Propping Up Inefficient Farms

Can we really keep paying farmers to produce food nobody wants to buy, it's madness, we're basically throwing money at a problem that isn't going away. I think we need to change the way we subsidize farming, instead of just handing out cash to any farmer who applies, we should be supporting the ones who are actually producing food that people want to eat.

We should be giving more money to farmers who are producing high quality, locally sourced food, the kind of stuff that people are actually willing to pay a bit more for. This would not only help to support the local economy, but it would also help to reduce our reliance on industrial farming, which is a major contributor to pollution and climate change. It's a no brainer, if we want to reduce our carbon footprint, we need to start supporting farmers who are doing things the right way.
