I've always believed that our education system should be about nurturing the unique talents and abilities of each child, rather than just catering to those who are deemed 'special needs'. The current system is far too narrow and often reliant on parents' ability to navigate a complex and bureaucratic process. By providing every child with a personalised learning plan, we can ensure that each child receives the support and resources they need to thrive.
A personalised learning plan would take into account a child's individual strengths and weaknesses, as well as any health or social issues that may impact their learning. It would also include recommendations for support and resources, and would be regularly reviewed and updated to reflect the child's changing needs.
