Scrap Corporate Tax Breaks for Outsourcers

I'm proposing we stop giving tax breaks to companies that outsource jobs abroad, it's a simple matter of fairness and common sense. These breaks were meant to encourage investment and job creation in the UK, but all they're doing is lining the pockets of shareholders while our communities suffer.

We need to recognize that outsourcing is a major contributor to unemployment and economic instability in this country, and it's ridiculous that we're essentially subsidizing it. Companies like to claim that outsourcing is necessary to stay competitive, but the truth is it's often just a way to cut costs and boost profits, without any regard for the impact on local communities.

The way it would work is that any company that outsources more than a certain percentage of its workforce would be ineligible for tax breaks, it's not a complicated system to implement.
