Enough with the First Past The Post Fiasco! It's Time For Proportional Representation.

I’m sick to death of seeing my vote feel like it’s wasted. Every election cycle, we get these huge swings based on a handful of marginal seats, while huge swathes of the country barely register. It’s maddening. We’ve got parties with massive national support getting almost no representation, and others with tiny vote shares holding the balance of power. It just doesn't reflect what people actually want.

What we need is a proper move towards proportional representation. I’m not sure if it’s exactly List PR or something like STV, but the principle is simple: the number of seats a party gets should broadly match the percentage of votes it receives nationwide. This would encourage more people to vote, knowing their vote actually counts towards the final result, not just a symbolic gesture in a safe seat.

Think of the practicalities.
