Scrap the green nonsense and drill for oil

I'm sick of paying through the nose for my heating bills just so some politician can feel good about themselves and their so-called green credentials. It's all well and good talking about saving the planet but when you're struggling to make ends meet it's hard to care about polar bears. I've got a family to feed and a business to run and I need affordable energy to do it.

I'd change the whole energy policy to focus on what actually works, not what sounds good at a dinner party. We need to start drilling for oil and gas again, and we need to do it now. All this nonsense about renewable energy is just that, nonsense. It's expensive, it's unreliable, and it's not going to heat my house or power my van. I don't care about being self-sufficient or whatever other buzzword the politicians are using this week, I just want to be able to afford to keep my family warm.
