We need a much clearer system for dealing with non-UK citizens who commit truly heinous crimes, especially those that exploit children. My proposal is straightforward: if you’re convicted of a serious crime like child exploitation, and you don’t hold full British citizenship, then your right to live here should be revoked. There shouldn't be endless legal wrangling about it. Our priority must be the safety and well-being of our communities and especially our kids, not the comfort of criminals.
It just seems like common sense to me. Why are we spending taxpayer money on protracted legal battles and appeals for individuals who have demonstrated such a profound disregard for human decency and our laws? These resources could be much better spent.
