I think we should scrap these unrealistic renewable energy targets and invest in nuclear power instead, cos let's be real, it's the only way we're gonna meet our energy needs. We can't just rely on solar and wind, they're not reliable enough and it's not like the weather's always gonna cooperate, I mean come on, this is Britain we're talking about, it rains all the time.
We need a solid, consistent source of energy, and nuclear's the way to go, imo. It's cleaner than fossil fuels, and it's way more efficient than renewables, so it's a no-brainer, tbh. I work in retail, I know about supply chains and logistics, and I can tell you that nuclear's the only way we're gonna keep the lights on without breaking the bank.
I'm so sick of ppl going on about how we need to save the planet, but they never think about the practicalities, like how we're actually gonna power our homes and businesses, you know, the things that matter.
