Enough of this AI nonsense, let's actually invest in Scottish tech!

Honestly, I’m sick of hearing about AI this and AI that. Every other week there’s some new announcement about a think tank or a government initiative that’s going to "explore the potential" of artificial intelligence. It all sounds like so much hot air and a colossal waste of money that could be spent on things that actually matter for Scotland’s future. We’ve got brilliant minds here, but they’re often forced to go elsewhere because there isn’t enough tangible support for homegrown innovation.

We need a concrete plan to foster our own technology sector, not just chase the latest global trends. This means significant, long-term funding for Scottish universities and research institutions that are doing genuine, cutting-edge work. Imagine if we put that AI "exploration" money into developing our own renewable energy tech, or supporting our burgeoning creative industries with digital tools.
