Bring Back Proper British Manufacturing, Not This Service Economy Nonsense

We need a radical shift back to supporting British manufacturing and industry. This endless focus on finance and ‘services’ has gutted our towns and left us with nothing but coffee shops and betting places. We need to make things again, proper things, right here in Britain.

This means significant tax breaks and grants for companies that set up or expand manufacturing plants in the UK. Forget the red tape and endless regulations that choke small businesses. We should be actively encouraging factories, not driving them overseas with bureaucratic nonsense. Think about the jobs this creates – real, skilled jobs that people can be proud of, not just serving lattes or filling out forms. My customers at the store, they want quality British-made stuff, but it’s just not there anymore.

We also need to invest in apprenticeships and technical colleges that teach the skills our grandparents knew.
