Unions only care about themselves, not the working man. Time to change the rules.

Why should these union bosses get to decide who speaks for working people? They trot out the same old lines, saying nobody like Farage is a "friend of the workers", but when was the last time they actually delivered anything real for the bloke stuck driving a van or the woman working on a checkout? They get paid by their members, but it feels like they’re more interested in lining their own pockets and pushing their own agendas.

I reckon it’s time we brought in some proper accountability. If a union wants to speak for a particular trade or industry, they should have to prove they’re actually helping those people. Maybe a referendum every five years, not just on who’s in charge, but on whether the union is still relevant.
