Enough of this green nonsense, let's get serious about cheap heating!

We need a national energy policy that prioritises affordable heating and power for ordinary people, not just ticking boxes for eco-warriors. This means investing heavily in reliable, affordable energy sources, including nuclear and sensible gas exploration, while phasing out the most expensive and unreliable renewables.

The current obsession with wind and solar has driven up bills to ridiculous levels. People in Grimsby are having to choose between heating their homes and eating properly. This is not sustainable or fair. We need energy security that doesn't depend on the weather or foreign governments.

The government should establish national energy hubs that combine generation, storage, and grid management, focused on keeping costs down. This would create local jobs and ensure we have power when we need it, not just when the wind blows.
