Lords is a Joke, Time to Sort It

I'm fed up with the whole House of Lords system, it's a relic of the past and it's about time we did something about it. You've got people being appointed to it left and right, often because they've got the right connections or they've donated a load of money to the right party. It's not exactly what I'd call democratic.

I think what really gets my goat is that these people can make decisions that affect our lives without ever having to face the voters. They're not accountable to anyone, they just swan in and out of the Lords, making laws and whatnot, and we're all just supposed to be grateful. I'm not grateful, I'm angry. We need to sort out this system so that the people making the decisions are actually elected by the people they're supposed to be serving.

We should be looking at abolishing the House of Lords and replacing it with a properly elected second chamber.
