BBC needs a serious shake-up, not more taxpayer cash

Was watching that Antiques Roadshow the other day with my mum. Lovely programme, but honestly, how many more times do we need to see the same antiques valued by the same experts? It just feels so… stale. And this is what my license fee is paying for, alongside endless repeats of Gavin & Stacey. I get that public service broadcasting is meant to be a bit different, but it feels like the Beeb has lost its way completely, just churning out the same old comfort food TV cos they can’t be bothered to innovate.

This is why I think the govt needs to really look at how the BBC is funded. Relying on the license fee feels so outdated, especially when so many ppl are cutting the cord. Why should everyone have to pay for a service they might not even use, or worse, actively dislike? It’s not efficient and it’s not fair.
