Stop Subsidising Tyrants with Taxpayer Funds

I've always thought it's hypocritical that we condemn human rights abuses while selling arms to dictators, it's a contradictory policy that needs reform. As someone who's worked with international clients, I've seen how other countries like Singapore and Switzerland manage to maintain a strong defence industry without compromising their values. We should take a similar approach, focusing on exporting defence technology that promotes stability and security, rather than fueling conflicts.

The current system is not only morally dubious, but it's also bad for business in the long run. By subsidising arms sales to regimes with questionable human rights records, we're essentially using taxpayer funds to support tyrants. This undermines our reputation as a champion of democracy and human rights, making it harder for us to promote our values abroad.
